In February I had the chance to visit Matt, KC1XX for the ARRL International DX Contest CW.
In May, it was time for our second holiday trip to the United states. This time our route started at the West Coast. We drove from San Francisco to Los Angelos, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon National Park,..., directly to Dayton, OH, to visit the Hamvention fair again.
For November Anja and I received an invitation from Matt not only to participate in the CQWW DX Contest CW, but also to attend the Thanksgiving dinner at the Strelow family. Oh man, turkey sandwiches all weekend long. And Grünbacher Weissbier!

Scotland (GM)
After the successful DXpedition to Kermadec Islands, the Lagunaria DX Group got invited by the GM DX Group to attent their convention in Stirling, Scotland to give presentations about the DXpedition. While Dietmar DL3DXX highlighted the DXpedition itself, I concentrated on the financial aspects of such large undertakings. We finally got awared as DXpedition of the Year.
